Land Purchase and Development
•Located, purchased, and developed various land projects including, among others, a mixed-use 206 acre development in
Cedar City, UT, 16-lot subdivision in Herriman, UT, 76 and 102 lots in Mesquite NV, and 48 twin-houses in Williston,
ND.
•Put together development teams including architects, engineers, attorneys, etc. to perform development work required
by the appropriate governmental agencies.
•Worked closely with Planning and Zoning departments to make presentations to the proper Planning Commission and
City or County Councils for rezoning, site plan, and final subdivision map approvals.
Construction Management
•As Project Manager interviewed and hired general contractors maintaining direct oversight of their work including
reviewing and approving all budgets, bids, and subcontracts.
•Emphasized Quality Control with all workers-what was expected and then inspected-from the start of construction
through the critical last stages.

Herriman, Utah
Purchased and developed a 16-lot single family subdivision next to an equestrian park and middle school. Each lot was
one-half acre and was approved for one horse per lot. Our Development Team interacted with the Herriman building and
zoning department to obtain site plan approval. One requirement was to get F.E.M.A. approval of the site plan with a 50
foot easement for the stream and a 25 foot easement for service vehicles. Two different builders purchased all of the lots
building $500 thousand semi-custom homes.

Lakeside Village/Legacy Properties, LLC - Huntsville , Utah
Began as a sale agent, but within a short period became the Sales Manager. As Sales Manager reconstructed the
national marketing campaign with a budget of $600 thousand resulting in sales of $50 million within six months. Became
involved with learning the construction business during this time period.
Ultimately, ended up purchasing the remaining two phases (5-plex, 8-plex) of the project under McQuarrie Investments,
LLC. Hired the same general contractor, obtained construction financing, pre-sold each home, and built out the multi
family units
